The director is the main reason for the bad film
Scenario
The Reverend accompanies a ragtag group of military personnel to a remote South Pacific island to investigate the disappearance of naval units allegedly of the Imperial Japanese Army. The drop plane is a C-47/DC-3, but the interior shown, especially at the end of the film, is that of a larger cargo plane, perhaps a C-123.
I feel beleaguered after watching this film
All the characters were played well, including the werewolf, but what is the role of Murphy?? Why is there a need for a vampire in Murphy’s cafe?
Who trained his father and when?
Why is Murphy even needed in this film? Why were there werewolves living in the village and using the services of the villagers in the first place?
How did they get converted?
Who put together a team of extraordinary people but died within seconds? All these plot loops ruined this movie but I am sure I appreciate people who played their characters well and also enjoyed the enigmatic background music.
So please don’t waste your money on such movies
A low budget movie can be made good with the right plot. Even we liked the werewolf and his style and costume but him hiding behind a wall seems like a human behavior.
