The exterior shots of the house are similar to the same house that Mitchell and Cam lived in on Modern Family
It tells the story of three very different families who are struggling to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems.
The pacing is just right, striking a balance that fits perfectly into the drama/thriller-lite genre
I was hesitant but hopeful when I saw the casting, and I’m happy to say that they exceeded all expectations.
The story is both deep and engaging, and I never once felt like I was being pulled in
The characters are cleverly crafted modern caricatures of the upper class in the area, and their portrayals become more and more humorous as the story progresses.
The dialogue feels natural and helps the characters come to life
The visuals are simple but effective, adding to the overall feel of the story without trying too hard.
