Former CIA counterintelligence director James Jesus Angleton, also known as the “spy poet”, described the intelligence game as a “Wilderness of Mirrors”, which was a phrase borrowed from a poem by T.S. Eliot called Gerontion (the title is Greek for “little old man”, and the poem is an interior monologue that recounts the opinions and impressions of an elderly man, describing Europe after World War I through the eyes of a man who lived most of his life in the 19th century). In the world of Intelligence, in search of truth, it is difficult to distinguish between reality and a reflection of it, an illusion if you will, as if in a “Hall of Mirrors”.

Episodes, but then I found out it was primordial and if I wasn’t subscribed to that company, I had to pay or subscribe to it. Sorry, but it’s getting a little ridiculous with all the different providers we have now. It would cost a fortune, which as a senior citizen I don’t have, being on a fixed income.
I enjoyed it until the end of episode 2
The series was well put together, the actors were good, and the series was easy to watch. I don’t want to spoil the series, so those of you who have a Paramount subscription, have at it. It’s well worth your time if you like spy series.
